1999 Atlanta Symphony Decorators' Show House: Family Salon & Conservatory
Our goal was to open up this room to the out of doors, bringing the gardens "inside." The entire room is painted a light oatmeal and the four rounded corners were painted in the tromp l'oeil style in order to match two concealed corner cabinets with two faux cabinets. The fabrics reflect the surrounding gardens, creating a seamless flow between the garden and home. The result is a cool and comfortable family gathering place, where the gardens can be enjoyed even while inside.
